Providing rehabilitation services to clients who have experienced a brain injury, ARBI offers community-based programming centered on clients’ individualized goals enabling clients and their families to live their best lives possible.
The Association for the Rehabilitation of the Brain Injured (ARBI) is a community-based, non-profit organization in Calgary, Alberta.
ARBI provides comprehensive rehabilitation and caregiver support in a nurturing and encouraging environment. Our innovative treatment model and unique, personalized approach has successfully helped thousands of individuals with brain injuries regain their independence and live fulfilling lives.
The impact of a brain injury can be far reaching, affecting not just the client but their families and friends as well. Our resource centre offers information and supports for all those impacted throughout the brain injury journey.
For more than 40 years, our vision has been to give each of our clients the chance to live their best life possible. We do this through our primary programs and services:
ON-SITE PROGRAM provides intensive neurorehabilitation therapy delivered by our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
OUTREACH PROGRAM offers one-to-one assessment and treatment tailored for clients requiring intervention from only one discipline.
COMMUNITY INTEGRATION PROGRAM (CIP) offers group and one-to-one opportunities for engagement in meaningful community-based recreational pursuits.
CAREGIVER SUPPORT is provided to clients and their caregivers as they adjust to life after brain injury and reconnect with the community.
Our dedicated volunteers offer their skills, support, and compassion to our clients throughout their rehabilitation
Volunteer time and efforts help us work towards our mission of making life better for every one of our clients
Since 1978, ARBI has changed the lives of thousands of individuals and their families to once again live a meaningful life once thought lost
